TikTok's app for creators: one place to make posts, manage them and see how they're doing. You can get it from Google Play or the App Store and log in with your normal TikTok account. A lighter version is also built into the TikTok app and the website.

Some TikTok Studio features are only for people 18 or older (19 in South Korea).

Open Analytics in TikTok Studio. Account analytics has four tabs: Overview, Content (how every post did), Viewers (who watches and when they're active) and Followers. Each post also has its own Overview, Viewers and Engagement tabs.

Tip: the activity times under Viewers show when your audience is on TikTok, which helps you pick when to post or go LIVE.

Yes. Under Create, Auto captions adds captions to your post and lets you fix any words before you post. Create also has a photo editor, AutoCut templates (effects, music and transitions), the camera and upload.

Anything you post or delete in TikTok Studio is also posted or deleted on TikTok.

TikTok's help page says scheduling works on TikTok's desktop website, not mobile web:

1. Log in on a computer and click Upload.
2. Upload and edit your video.
3. Turn on the schedule switch and pick a date and time (15 minutes to 10 days ahead).
4. Click Schedule.

The same page says scheduling is for Business accounts with 10,000 or more followers, so if you don't see the switch, your account may not have it yet. Scheduled posts can be deleted but not edited.

In TikTok Studio, open Monetize. It shows your estimated rewards for the past 7 days, your balance, how you're collecting rewards, the programs you're in, and other programs you can join.

Comments, yes: Manage, then Comments lets you search, reply, like, dislike and delete. Direct messages, no: TikTok Studio doesn't have them, so use the TikTok app for your chats.

You need to be at least 18 years old and have 1,000 followers. TikTok says the follower number can be different in some regions, and LIVE isn't available in every country yet. You also have to follow TikTok's Community Guidelines.

In the TikTok app:

1. Tap the + button at the bottom.
2. Tap LIVE at the bottom (you may need to scroll across).
3. Add a title and set up your LIVE tools and settings.
4. Tap Go LIVE.

You can change settings during the LIVE with More (…) then Settings. To finish, tap End LIVE at the top, then End now.

Only accounts that meet the requirements can go LIVE: 18 or older, 1,000 followers (can vary by region), and LIVE available where you live. If you meet all of them and still can't go LIVE, TikTok asks you to report the problem to them from the app.

Yes, you can. TikTok's help says that to go LIVE from a computer you use LIVE Studio, TikTok's own desktop app for Windows, or OBS Studio, which runs on Windows, Mac and Linux. You still need to be allowed to go LIVE first.

LIVE Studio logs in with your TikTok account and has TikTok extras built in, like co-host, multi-guest, LIVE goals, widgets and LIVE Analytics. OBS gives you more control over scenes and layouts, and our OBS guide will walk through it.

TikTok's minimum is 64-bit Windows 10 or newer, an Intel Core i3 (9th gen) or AMD Ryzen 5 3000 processor, NVIDIA GTX 10-series or AMD Radeon graphics, 8 GB of memory, 1 GB of free space and DirectX 11. TikTok lists stronger parts for gaming streams and asks for a 720p or 1080p camera depending on the kind of LIVE.

Before you start, open LIVE Settings to add moderators and to turn on Audience controls, which limits the LIVE to viewers 18 or older. During the LIVE, tap More (…), then Settings, then Comment settings to filter comments and block keywords (TikTok blocks their variations too).

To handle one person, tap their comment or profile in the chat: Mute them for a set time, Block them from your LIVE, Report the comment, or make them a moderator.

Yes, that's multi-guest. During your LIVE, tap Guests, then Invite to bring in other creators or friends. Viewers can also ask to join; in Guests, then Settings, you choose whether anyone can ask or only your followers.

Pick a layout there too: Panel keeps you on the main screen, and Grid gives guests more room. Tap Disconnect next to a guest to remove them. Viewers can send Gifts to you and your guests.

Yes. Replays of your LIVE videos are kept for 30 days. To find them: Profile, menu (☰), TikTok Studio, LIVE at the top, then LIVE recordings. From there you can Download a replay, Clip it into a new post, or Delete it.

Viewers send virtual Gifts that pop up on screen during your LIVE. TikTok awards you Diamonds the more popular your LIVE gets, and your LIVE summary shows the total at the end. To turn Gifts on or off, tap Settings on the LIVE screen before you go LIVE.

To use Gifts you must be 18 or older (19 in South Korea), be allowed to go LIVE, live where Gifts are available, and have an account in good standing.
